Strategy, Management Information Plus’s budgeting application, is dynamic, user-friendly budgeting software that is essential for today’s financial institution. Using your historical information, Strategy acts as a road-map, telling you where you have been, where you are today and will forecast where you are going tomorrow in easy-to-understand Board-quality reports, graphs, and management information.

  • Designed with your needs in mind – MI Plus understands that your institution has unique budgeting and reporting requirements. You will not be held hostage to predefined formats; Strategy is designed around your financial statements, chart of accounts, interest-sensitive assets & liabilities, and cost centers.
  • Easy to use – Strategy uses historical and re-pricing data from your host system to update the budget, allowing you more time to analyze your results instead of inputting data.
  • One size fits all – Strategy is designed to accommodate any size financial institution.  Analyze your monthly reports for the previous year, current year, and next four years through Strategy’s streamlined interface.
  • The budget will interface directly in your monthly Board reports (Chairman) for ongoing comparative analysis.

Strategy is completely integrated with Chairman, MI Plus’s flagship application, and Controller, MI Plus’s loan and deposit application.  Strategy and Chairman use the same general ledger data, and when utilized together they help to paint a complete picture of the overall budget.  Strategy’s components include balance sheets, income statements (summary and detailed) in your Chairman Board report format, and each of your interest-sensitive assets and liability types (loans, investments, deposits, and debt). It’s an easy-to-use model which allows what-if analysis for changes in interest rates, loan demand, mergers, major asset acquisitions, or any changes in your operation.
